I'm a little surprised there's not already an existing thread for this season (I refuse to see the Saban Brands "super" seasons as separate things), but since there isn't, here we go.
Dino Charge is an interesting season for me because, while I really liked the concept, costumes, villains, and story, I had issues with a couple of key characters - Tyler and Shelby - that had derailed my previous attempts to watch the season in its entirety.
That has now changed, as I decided to give the season another go and found my issues with Tyler (the hyperactive way Brennan Mejija behaved and portrayed the character in almost every scene) and Shelby (she came across as thoroughly unintelligent and dumb despite figuring out how to track down the Ankylo Zord) slowly disappearing by around the time we were introduced to Ivan and Prince Phillip III, and I can now say that, despite still only currently being part-way through the whole season, it's actually leapfrogged several other shows in my Favorites rankings and there isn't a single character or plot element that I actively dislike any longer... unless you count Kendall inexplicably not joining the final fight in the episode "Forgive and Forget" or any of the fights in the episode "Nightmare in Amber Beach".
Anybody else wanna chime in with thoughts on Dino Charge?

I think overall, Dino Charge is pretty good. It's got some problems, especially the Supercharge finale, but it's got good characters, villains, and stories that help make up for a lot of it.
I'm not sure if I'd call it a favorite, but I do enjoy it for the most part.

Even without having yet seen it, I've got to say that I don't understand what people find so objectionable about End of Extinction.
The heroes screwing up and having to use time travel to fix their mistakes is a tried-and-true Sci-Fi story beat that hasn't really been explored all that much in Power Rangers, but that still doesn't feel our-of-place.
Maybe I'll feel different when I get there and actually watch the story play out, but as of right now, I don't get the hate.

For me, it's really the way they went about it. It's such a huge screw up for the rangers to make, and the way they fix it is even pretty weak.
But, like you said, you haven't seen it. So you might feel different.

I personally liked the seasons story was fun and engaging. The villains where great. The Rangers actually had spirit and character. The only stupid thing was second season finale rewriting history to have dinosaurs alive and them made the shoe it's own universe like rpm. But still overall good series. And a lot better of the neo Saban era.

Does anybody know why Kendall stopped joining the Rangers' battles for several episodes?

I don't think they ever gave a reason, but it way that's a downside to the season. We know she's there are all the time, we know she can morph, but they never give a reason why she doesn't. It's one of the downsides to Supercharge. At least James and Phillip had a reason for not being in on the action.
It's probably a lack of Sentai footage, but they use a lot of original footage so I don't think that's a great excuse.

^ Yeah, I'm trying to not let Kendall's lack of fighting drive me crazy, but it's a struggle.
Aside from that, though, I've been enjoying the back half of the season.

Ya that was the problem when you had so many rangers. To which got more or less focus. It's nice when they have a reason like for the prince guy having to run his country. Or even something as easy as mm did back in the day and Tommy forget his communicator. It's easier if what ever episode they are using doesn't feature x ranger. So then they have to write in something.

I just found a short clip where Claire Blackwelder says that Kendall's lab is her first priority, but it would've been nice for the show to have said that in-universe. I'll just have to keep that tidbit in mind as I continue the season and just enjoy her morphed scenes when they happen.

Sorry for the double post, but it can't be helped.
I'm really glad I decided to give it another go at getting through Dino Charge because it's gotten consistently better episode by episode, and with just 6 episodes left, I need to sit down and figure out exactly where it lands on my list of Favorites.
I also have to say that the season is 100% a return to the style and level of storytelling that the franchise got to by the time Saban Entertainment was bought out by Disney, but done in a way that doesn't feel forced or like it's relying on nostalgia for the sake of nostalgia like Samurai and Megaforce (both of which I do like, to varying degrees) did at times.
