I was shocked when I first heard it and momotaros is correct as the date on the article confirms this is new news as it was reported today. So, now that Hasbro has the full rights to Power Rangers, do you guys think that production for Beast Morphers and future seasons will still be based in New Zealand or do you think Hasbro will move production back to the states and possibly end up making the show union again? If both things happen in the near future, we could finally see many more past Rangers make returns for either a crossover episode or two, or even a starring role as a Mentor/Ranger like Jason David Frank was in Dino Thunder.

Hmm like others I thought it was article about toy rights and all ad we known for months. We have heard rumors they where going to buy the whole ip as it was an option. Though I didn't expect them to do it so fast. I would have thought they wait awhile or after a season or two as toy makers and see how profits are and all that. Now hear question is Saban creative folks in Haim and others that control the TV show are they going to remain a part after beast morphers. As they are already working on it pretty production wise that is.
Though with hasbro hopefully they can sink some more money into production of the show. And since we know we still have 3 year deal with nick. Maybe hasbro can convince nick to air show better or back to old format or something.
I wouldn't expect a move for filming for beast morphers. As we know casting is under way and they are to shoot still in nz. Now for what ever is after bm. Maybe a move. But even with hasbro as owner I doubt they go union or back to us for filming. Would be great if it did. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

If this results in a better series overall I’m happy. I hope they truly care about the franchise and gives older fans and younger fans the show they want. Sorry Saban but every since you brought the franchise back you’ve distanced yourself from the fans and that has hurt the series. Sure you gave us Dino Charge but even you found a way to screw that up. I hope Hasbro gives us the show we’ve been craving.

I hope Power Rangers does become a better show, but given Hasbro have screwed up with Transformers RID and some later seasons of My Little Pony, I'll be cautious.

Zordon Era (MMPR-IS), Post-Zordon Era (LG-WF), Disney Era (NS-RPM), Neo Saban era (S-SNS), Hasbro Era (BM-present). Plus I think after 3 years with Nick I think Hasbro would most likely move Power Rangers to either Discovery Family or due to relationship with NBCUniversal Universal Kids or Netflix.

Surprised, but not entirely. The buying rumors are floating from months, since the announcements of Hasbro adquiring the license of toys for America, and Beast Morphers' one. I'm more surprised for the amout of cash Hasbro adquired Power Rangers' IP: 520 millions. Remember: Saban bought Power Rangers for 43 millions from Disney. Now, that's what I call a good business. But the news says Saban's people gonna be in advisory position, so I don't expect full changes in production in the TV series soon. So, Beast Morphers could stay the same as Ninja Steel. Probably, it gonna be more of a push to produce a new movie (or a reboot). I don't know about Hyperforce or the comics, probably gonna stay the same...

I just realize that Power Rangers has been aquired by two different companies during a anniversary. Disney during the 10th anniversary, and now Hasbro during the 25th anniversary.

I would hate to see it move again to another channel. Doesn't hasbro have some stuff with nick. As much as we hatr nick scheduling. I rather stay on a lower mid tier channel that cable and satalite folks would likely get. Then discovery channels as thry are a upper tier ch. Plus really viewers wise if we went to a upper tier ch would likely be lower.
And I seriously doubt the show would ever go just streaming. Again it's more likely it will always be broadcast. Then a second home on streaming.
I would also love if hasbro gets someone else to do season sets then LG has been. Personally be great if we had shout do box sets vs how LG sets been. As for changes yes I hope for some more production money and creative changes. For bm I doubt they likely would have much say in things as show already been in pre production. If anything I could see a hasbro logo in credits. Then come after bm they are full control over creative and etc... behind the scenes folks. I do hope they would keep folks like chip and a few or even get some past folks back along with any new blood down the road.
